Late this morning, residents and businesses started hearing an incessant helicopter flying low near downtown. The chopper is just lifting some materials on top of the new Lodge plant. No word on the time span the area will be affected.

An accident coming out of South Pittsburg threw a wrench into lunch seekers' plans trying to get to Kimball. The accident took place at the intersection of Ash Avenue and Highway 72 eastbound. No reports available on injuries...the road is open at this point.
